The Jeep Gladiator’s box measures 60.3 inches long, 56.8 inches wide at the top rail, and 44.8 inches between the wheelhouses — the width that decides whether a 48-inch sheet of plywood or drywall lies flat instead of resting on the wheel wells. That falls short of the mark: 15 of the 24 other trucks compared here clear the 48-inch threshold, including every Tundra, F-150, Silverado, and Sierra trim. Payload tops out at 1,200 lbs and cargo volume is rated at 35.5 cubic feet, though Jeep’s own printed bed depth of 33.9 in is flagged below as inconsistent with that volume figure.

Method
Figures were pulled directly from each manufacturer's own spec pages, configurators, or press-kit PDFs. Where a manufacturer's own configurator wouldn't return values (Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500), figures came from secondary dealer/aggregator sites instead, and those rows are flagged in their source note. The 48in Plywood Fits Flat? column is a derived check — a threshold test on width between wheelhouses, not a published spec — and it doesn't account for wheel-well taper, bed liners, or tie-down cleats.
Gaps
Cargo volume isn't published for Tacoma or Tundra by Toyota at all. Depth is missing for the current Colorado/Canyon (GM's own configurator literally shows "-TBD-"), for Ridgeline (Honda says it doesn't publish one), and for the non-XD Titan. Width at top isn't published separately for F-150 or Sierra 1500 — only width between wheelhouses. Non-XD Titan has no manufacturer dimension table at all; the Titan XD row is a 2021-only substitute from a dealer source, marked as such rather than presented as current data.
